Pisto con Tomate is a duo that emerged from the meeting of Rodrigo Lepe (piano) and Alberto Manrique (drums) at ESMUC (Barcelona), and their shared interest in exploring improvised music, experimentation, and avant-garde jazz.

Through the dynamic interaction between piano and drums, they explore traditional and contemporary jazz, combining elements of post-bop, modal jazz, and free jazz with moments of free improvisation, driven by the complicity and chemistry that the duo exudes.
